The Ulysses website forum ride to Brooklyn today (6/4/2008) saw 12 brave the cloudy weather and head off on the highway to Brooklyn for Breakfast.

 

After a slight shower on the way down we arrived ready for a feast.  A wait for breky gave us time to re-acquaint with Mark and meet some other friendly Ulyssians from other clubs and members from the forum (hi Black Assassin and Killa Koala- whose autograph book we all signed).

 

After a hearty breakfast and a look around the Marina and the usual lads comparing bikes and such we headed off. We rode along the freeway (Les opted for a scenic route) to meet up at Minmi Pub (Wendy, Pete & Peter etc decided to go to Merewether).

 

At Minmi we met up with Kath and Chris (and son Arron) for lunch.  However after a short while the others who were going to Merewether all turned up at Minmi. So we all had another feed and had some laughs. We also renamed Mark- the Kilt.

 

Despite the weather and a few cloud bursts of rain on the way home, all had a fine time and all agreed it was great to see rides and picys on the website for all newcomers to see what a great time Ulyssians have (even on a cloudy day).
